Placename

Gaelic name: Sgeir na Fliùgh

Name in Original Source: Sgeir na Fliùgh

English meaning: Skerry of the lythe

Placename feature: Skerry

Notes: Information from Donald Cameron. This is a skerry which is to be avoided on passage in to Poll Creadha but the fishing boat Fertile struck it head-on during the mid-1970s and was wrecked there. It is a small rock just north-west of Sgeir Chabach/Sgeir Ghobhlach
