Notes: The name of the American state is applied to this area now overgrown with trees, but which was once cultivated. It is in the hill above Lower Toscaig pier, but below the (1998) deer fence. Between, or more accurately, on the south side of the house Tigh a' Ghrian and the place where Cadha Uisge (q.v.) comes through a low wall.
