Notes: There is a fair amount of debate locally between crofters and Applecross historians on one hand, and archaeologists, for example, on the other, as to exactly what area of ground marked out Pairc Langailand, indeed, Langail itself. Some locals feel that the entire area under conifer plantation in 2012 is Langail rather than just the area marked on the Estate maps of c.1810, which locates it as a small field on the east side of the current Applecross Farm ground
