Placename

Gaelic name: Pairc na Ceàrdaich

Name in Original Source: Pairc na Ceàrdaich

English meaning: The smithy park

Placename feature: Field

Notes: In a recording made by Ian Fraser, for the Scottish Place Name Survey, May 1971 (PN1971.016B), this name is mentioned as a possible alternate name of cfPairc an t-Slugain, the park or field is immediately east of Pairc an t-Srathain. It sits immediately south of the Applecross Smithy, and was once a decent park, although it had been planted over with conifers and was still under trees when the 1971 recording was made
