Notes: Named after Ewen Kennedy (c1799-12/03/1873), this is the green band of grass that sweeps around the shoulder of the Meall Gorm (q.v.) He was the first person who is remembered as having negotiated it, apparently whilst employed on the construction of the first official road (a 'Parliamentary road') over the Bealach na Bà in the 1820s.
