Notes: A road built by Ali Bàn Gillies which runs from the shore lying between the Caman and the Caigeann up to the Culduie crofts. Horses carried seaweed on this road. <br /><br /><br /><br />'Small road from Caiken across main road to No. 8 croft (for conveying seaweed by horse & cart).' Information from Dr Alexander K Gillies.<br /><br /><br /><br />This old track can be clearly seen today as it heads off at right-angles to the main road, south of Galloway Beag and then turns at right-angles again to cross into the crofts of the township. Co-ordinates are recorded from the point where this feature intersects with the current main road
