Placename

Gaelic name: Lochan Fada, Na (2)

Name in Original Source: Lochan Fada (2)

English meaning: Long lochs

Placename feature: Loch

Notes: (2) Marked on a hand-drawn map by Mrs Annie Fraser, these appear to be two long, narrow lochs on either side of the north coast road as it passes between the townships of Cùaig and Na Feàrna Mòra. They do not appear to have been recorded on any previous maps. The co-ordinates given are for the larger loch on the east side of the road.
