Placename

Gaelic name: Allt na Crìche (2)

Name in Original Source: Allt na Crìche (2)

English meaning: Boundary stream

Placename feature: Stream

Notes: (2) Flows from an unnamed loch at NG725425, and is given a grid reference where it issues into the sea. It is believed to mark the boundary between the townships of Camusterrach and Camusteel, but the boundary is actually a stone wall which runs almost parallel to it, before crossing it. The stream enters the sea in Camas an t-saighdeir.
