Notes: Allt a' Chòis flows south-east through Coire Sgamadail(q.v.) and is one of the larger streams flowing into the sea off the south-east coast of the Applecross peninsula. It was at - or near - its mouth that members of the Cameron family had lived in the 19th century prior to migrating across the water to Àird an Fheusgain on Loch Carron and then subsequently to Applecross.
